of the service we provide.
Our Careers Service offers specialist careers advice and guidance
for students intending to work in accountancy, marketing, human
resources, management, financial services and related business
industries.
Your careers support begins the moment you accept your place at
BPP.
The Careers Service offers the following services free to current
students and graduates up to 1 year after graduation.
- Full guidance interview booked in advance up to 45 minutes in
duration. These can be delivered either face to face or by
telephone.
- Individual "quick query" interviews for a twenty minute
discussion with a duty Careers Consultant.
- “Mock” interviews with a Careers Consultant to assist you to
prepare effectively for “real-life” interviews.
- E-guidance consultations primarily for dealing with short
queries such as CV or application checking.
- Programmes of workshops and presentations on job seeking, self
- marketing, skill development, recruitment and selection
processes.
- Careers information in both print and electronic formats
relating to occupations, employers, finding work experience,
further study and training.
- An online vacancy service for students looking for part-time,
placement, voluntary and full-time opportunities.
- Presentations by employers and professional bodies within
relevant sectors.
- Psychometric (aptitude) testing with individual
feedback
