One-to-one support

We offer you one-to-one specialist careers expertise in the form of a booked face-to-face appointment with one of our specialist careers consultants or careers tutors, a 'drop-in' session, a telephone discussion or email advice.
All of this is operated within flexible opening hours to ensure part-time students also receive maximum benefit from the services available.
We can assist with applying for placements in companies, professional firms and agencies or the not-for-profit sector, researching organisations, CV and cover letter advice, application form checks, interview and assessment centre advice, mock interviews and alternative career advice.
One-to-one guidance
You are offered specialist one to one guidance as soon as you accept your place with BPP. This can be in the form of:
- a booked face-to-face appointment
- a 'drop-in' session during term time
- a telephone discussion
- email advice
All of the above are offered during the day and evening to cater for full and part-time students. One-to-one guidence can assist with researching employers and deciding which career path you want to take, CV and cover letter advice, application form checks, interview and assessment centre advice and mock interviews.
Mock interviews
We provide a thorough mock interview service when you have an interview coming up. We will ask you questions that we think are likely to come up in your real interview and then give you some constructive feedback on your answers and your interview technique.
Personal development plans
You will be given a personal development plan at your initial meeting with a Careers Consultant. This plan will help you with your personal career planning and ensure you have a timetable to work towards for the completion of various tasks.
