The programme is assessed on a module-by-module basis using a
combination of the following:
- coursework
- closed-book examinations
You will be assessed on both your knowledge and skills relevant
to pursuing a career in management. These include unseen, seen and
part-seen assessments, group and individual work, and both written
work and presentations. For 15-credit taught modules there will be
one assessment; for 30-credit taught modules there will be a
maximum of two assessments.
All assessments are specifically designed to mirror real-life
situations, from group presentations to management reports.
We ensure that what you learn is applied
practically right from week one through to the
assessment strategy. This will allow you to develop a deeper,
practical understanding of both why and how it is used.
For the Business Intelligence Project, the exact nature of
assessment will be decided between yourself and your supervisor.
For the Management Skills module, you will be expected to submit a
portfolio of evidence that you have completed the module and this
will be graded accordingly.
Formal and informal feedback is given throughout the
programme to help you achieve success and maximise your
potential.
